Have you always wanted to visit far off lands like Egypt or the Galápagos Islands? Been thinking about taking that trip out west and introducing your family to the beauty of Alaska or Montana? Dreaming of exploring the world for a little while without the kids? It is time to start planning!

Adventures by Disney® has released their 2020 itineraries, and they are amazing! With over 30 destinations on six continents, there is an adventure for everyone. Here are some details of the itineraries we can’t wait to check out!

Egypt

Adventures by Disney® will be returning to Egypt next year!  This 10-day/9-night land, river, and sea adventure includes everything you want in an Egyptian adventure.  Beginning in Cairo, Adventurers will travel to Abu Simbel, Aswan, Kom Ombo, Luxor, and Sharm el Sheikh before returning to Cairo. With the expert guidance of an Egyptologist, this adventure includes exclusive VIP access to the Grand Egyptian Museum featuring the King Tut collection, a tour inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, and a visit to the Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings, including Tutankhamen’s Tomb! With visits to the Solar Boat Museum, the Sphinx, and to Old Cairo, including the Citadel of Sala Ed-Din and the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, you will really get to experience the world of Ancient Egypt. And the culture of today will come to life with shopping at a local Souk, a visit to a Nubian folklore show, private beachside Bedouin-themed dinner, and did someone say henna tattoos?

No trip to Egypt is complete without a sailing down the Nile! This itinerary includes a 3-night sailing on the M/S Tulip, which features three dining venues and a sundeck swimming pool, where you can sit and enjoy the passing scenery. Then it is time for the beach! A beachside resort in Sharm El Sheikh is your home for the next two days. Here you will be able to relax on the beach and spend a full day of snorkeling in the coral reefs at Ras Mohamed Underwater National Park in the Red Sea. This itinerary sounds amazing!

Montana

Also, new next year to Adventures by Disney® is the 6-night Montana and Yellowstone National Park trip. With awe-inspiring vistas and the spectacular wonder of the Old West, this itinerary captures the heart of this area of the country. Adventurers can go hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, zip lining, and fly fishing while staying at an authentic dude ranch, and also experience a night sky full of stars while glamping in their own private tent just 10-minutes west of Yellowstone National Park. This is an amazing option for both the adventure-loving family and adults looking to experience an adult-inclusive departure.

Short Escapes

Sometimes you just don’t have time to dedicate a week to a vacation, or are looking for a quick weekend getaway to a new locale. Adventures by Disney® has you covered with their Short Escapes. North American options include Boston, New York City, San Francisco, Disneyland® Resort and Southern California, and a Winter Weekend in Wyoming. There are also several Escape options in Europe.  These are a great way to see a lot in a short time, or as an add-on to a cruise or other vacation. Amsterdam, Paris, and Budapest join Copenhagen, Rome, Barcelona, and London next year as part of the Short Escape itinerary list.

Adult-Exclusive Adventures

Next year, Adventures by Disney® has planned more adult-exclusive departures than ever before, with itineraries and enhanced activities created with adults in mind.  Here are a few examples of these:

  • On the Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos Adult Exclusive Adventure, guests will be treated to a mango cooking and carving workshop, a very special Lao ancestral ceremony hosted by a senior Shaman, and a Laos coffee tasting at Saffrons before an excursion to the Kuansay Waterfalls.
  • On the England and France Adult Exclusive Adventure, guests will get to experience a dinner cruise down the Seine River aboard an all-glass boat.
  • On the Iceland Adult Exclusive Adventure, guests will experience an upgraded dinner at Rub 23 in Akuyeri, a private nighttime excursion in search of Northern Lights, and a farewell dinner at a trendy brewery.

With options like these and more, like Ceviche cooking classes in Costa Rica and a private tour of the legendary Terracotta Warrior site in China, these adult-exclusive departures include a lot of bucket-list items.
