We’re searching for candidates who possess the knowledge and passion for travel, and who can provide the exemplary service that we require of our Independent Contractor Travel Advisors. No previous experience necessary – our Agent Academy will teach you everything you need to know!

Travel Advisor Training Programs
Our award-winning training programs will be your guide as you learn how to be a successful Travel Advisor with Key to the World Travel.
You’ll be matched with an experienced mentor who will navigate you through our training program where you’ll learn the building blocks for running a successful business. This one-on-one mentorship program has proven to help make every advisor as successful as they want to be!
After graduating Agent Academy, you’ll have access to free training from our favorite suppliers, in-house masterclasses, and more! The Key to the World Travel® Specialist Program helps advisors as they continue to grow in their respective niche. Maybe you love cruises, or perhaps you’re an expert in booking European travel? Our specialist program is designed to help each advisor to hone their skills and have them highlighted on our website and social media channels.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to have any previous experience as a travel advisor to work with Key to the World. However, there are a few traits we look for in potential candidates.
Visits to your specialty destination – We like our Travel Advisors to have first-hand experience with their specialty destination, so we require that you’ve visited it several times. The more comfortable you are with a destination, the easier it is to plan an amazing vacation for your clients!
Expert-level travel knowledge – Our ideal agents are very familiar with Disney Destinations, Universal Parks & Resorts, OR at least one other travel niche. Niche examples are cruises, Europe, all-inclusives, beach destinations, destination weddings, etc.
Organizational skills and motivation – We’ll always be here to answer your questions, but we won’t be looking over your shoulder. This position requires self-management, strong organizational skills and the ability to market your services.
Strong research skills – You’ll need to be able to research and schedule activities, transportation, accommodations, travel deals, and more for your clients. Social media savviness is also a plus.
Great communication skills – You’ll be working directly with Key to the World travel clients, so good communication is essential for understanding how to plan their dream vacations.
Customer focus – Our goal is to take the hassle out of planning all types of vacations. We want the whole travel experience to be fun, memorable, and stress-free from start to finish. Amazing customer service is a big part of the package!
