Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026: Dates, Tickets, and What to Expect

Disney just announced the full schedule for the 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. Tickets go on sale soon, and if you’ve been before, you already know these nights sell out.

2026 Party Dates

The party runs on select nights from August 7 through October 31 — 38 nights total this year. Not every night is a party night, so you’ll want to match your travel dates to the schedule.

August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30 September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

August and September dates fall mostly on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with one Thursday (September 24). October opens up with more frequent dates, including Thursdays, and wraps with a party on Halloween night itself.

When Tickets Go on Sale

Two dates to keep in mind:

May 5 — first on-sale window for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green. May 12 — tickets open to everyone else.

Prices vary by date, and Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can get discounted tickets. Popular dates sell out quickly — earlier nights in August are usually the first to go. Your KTTW advisor can purchase tickets for you and match them to your travel dates so nothing falls through the cracks.

What Your Party Ticket Gets You

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event — it’s not included with regular park admission. Your party ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 PM, with the party running from 7:00 PM to midnight. That’s up to eight hours in the park, with significantly smaller crowds than a regular operating day.

You’ll have plenty to fill those hours:

  • Exclusive entertainment and stage shows
  • Halloween-themed food and drinks
  • Character meet-and-greets you can’t get during normal hours
  • Specialty merchandise
  • Trick-or-treat stations all over the park
  • Ride overlays with seasonal lighting and music

Costumes are encouraged but not required. Disney does have costume guidelines, so check those before you pack.

New and Returning Entertainment

New for 2026: Stitch is taking over the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland for a dance party with Lilo and Angel. The setup is that Stitch has gotten into Lilo’s costume trunk, and every accessory he pulls out kicks off a new theme for the party. Disney says it’ll play out differently throughout the night, so you could catch it twice and get a completely different experience each time.

The Cadaver Dans are also back in Frontierland — a barbershop quartet performing spooky a capella. They’re a nice change of pace from the bigger stage productions.

Trick-or-Treating

Yes, adults trick-or-treat too — and you absolutely should. There are over a dozen stops throughout the park, marked on the party map you get at the gate. Cast members hand out candy — M&Ms, Snickers, Starburst — and every guest gets a complimentary treat bag. No costume required.

You’re walking through themed areas of the park at night with Halloween lighting and atmosphere everywhere, so the trails are an experience on their own.

Character Meet-and-Greets

The party includes exclusive character greetings you can’t get during normal park hours. Jack Skellington and Sally are both available, Mickey and Minnie greet guests together in Halloween costumes at Town Square Theater, and Pooh shows up in his bumblebee outfit. You’ll also find festive appearances from couples like Ariel and Eric and Aladdin and Jasmine.

Disney Villains make roaming appearances throughout the park, too. A full character lineup hasn’t been released yet, but several of these meet-and-greets are party exclusives — Jack and Sally especially draw long lines because you simply can’t meet them anywhere else on property.

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

The Boo-to-You Parade opens with the Headless Horseman riding down Main Street, followed by the gravediggers dragging their shovels and sending sparks across the pavement. From there it’s Mickey, Minnie, and friends in costume, waltzing ghosts, Disney Princesses, Villains, and characters like Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph. The 2026 parade is scheduled for 8:15 PM.

If this is your first time, grab a spot along the route early — Main Street and Frontierland fill up well before showtime.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The Sanderson Sisters are back in front of Cinderella Castle, and if you haven’t seen this show yet, this is the year. Winifred, Sarah, and Mary recruit Disney Villains — Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and the Evil Queen — to gather ingredients for their spell. It’s loud, it’s interactive, and the crowd gets into it — you’ll clap, you’ll sing along, and you’ll watch the cauldron do its thing. Standing in that crowd at night with the castle lit up behind the stage is one of the best moments of the whole party.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

The fireworks show closes out the party. Jack Skellington narrates a haunted house story while projections transform Cinderella Castle room by room — skeletons, spiderwebs, Grim Grinning Ghosts. Zero leads Mickey and friends through the house, with Ursula, the Queen of Hearts, and Oogie Boogie all showing up before the fireworks and projections build to a massive finish.

The projection mapping on the castle changes the building’s shape and texture as the story moves from room to room, and the tone is fun enough that younger kids won’t be scared off. It’s a big, loud, beautiful way to end the night.
