The newly imagined version of Mickey’s Toontown will feature plenty of open grassy areas for guests to unwind, explore, and play, starting with CenTOONial Park. This area will feature a large interactive fountain with built in water tables designed for sensory fun, plus the “dreaming tree”, an imaginative tree with sculpted, oversize roots that gives children a chance to crawl and explore.

Mickey’s Toontown will also be the home of Disneyland Park’s version of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! Housed in the El CapiTOON theater, guests enter the cartoon world of Mickey and Minnie and enjoy a zany, out of control adventure aboard a train engineered by Goofy himself.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open Jan. 27, 2023 with the start of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration at Disneyland Resort.

Donald Duck is Goofy’s next door neighbor. His houseboat is a splash zone full of larger-than-life spinning water lilies, balance beams, and rocking toys to help kids splash and play. You can also peek into the portholes of Donald’s flooded boat to see what kind of underwater adventures Huey, Dewey, and Webigail are having.

Other Toontown favorites are returning as well

Chip and Dale’s Gadget Coaster, as well as Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin will be returning for all the silly, toony thrills guests know and love.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s houses will be open for self-guided tours, and even visits with Mickey and Minnie themselves when they’re home.
