What is the dining plan?
The dining plan at the Walt Disney World Resort allows you to have an all-inclusive feel to your vacation. You are pre-paying for your meals throughout your visit and you can add it right onto your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package.
When you arrive for your vacation, you will see that you have dining credits. These credits can be used throughout your vacation. You are not required to use a certain number each day. This gives you the ultimate flexibility in case you have a late arrival or early departure, or if you’re just feeling extra hungry one day during your vacation!
What is included?
When you add one of the dining plans to your vacation package, you have two options to choose from.
Disney Dining Plan
The Disney Dining Plan allows you to choose from quick-service or table-service (sit-down) restaurants during your visit. While dining reservations are still highly recommended, the dining plan allows you to prepay for the meals.
The Disney Dining Plan has the following inclusions per person, aged 3 and up:
- 1 quick-service meal
- 1 table-service meal
- 1 snack
- 1 Resort-refillable mug
You have this allotment for each night of your stay so the total amount you receive is based on the length of your stay.
This is a great option if you would like to enjoy some sit-down meals during your vacation, including any character dining experiences.
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
If you prefer to be on the go and enjoy all of the magic of your Disney vacation, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is a great option too! This plan allows you to pre-pay for quick-service meals, making dining throughout the parks simple and fast!
This meal plan has the following inclusions per person, aged 3 and up:
- 2 quick-service meals
- 1 snack
- 1 Resort-refillable mug
Like the other dining plan, the total number of credits you receive is based on the length of your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Why Should I Add a Dining Plan?
There are many reasons to consider adding one of the dining plans to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package.

Did you know that when you use the dining plan, you can save up to 20% on meals for children ages 3 to 9 years old? This is compared to the non-discounted price of the meal.
