Every year, our travel advisors from all over the country come together for the annual Key to the World Travel conference, KeyCon! This year was one of the largest events we have ever put together, with one of the largest turnouts in the history of the agency.
Our advisors came together to not only learn how to grow and service their clients better but to also serve their community as well. Using this year’s conference, we came together to collect toys to donate to Toys for Tots.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. The program was founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks. Unlike many other programs, 97% of the money fundraised goes back into the community!
Our advisors reached out to their clients, community, and their own pockets to donate toys and funds to purchase toys for this year’s holiday season. They went over and above what we expected with their contributions and over-filled two collection bins and then some!
We are so lucky to have such a caring and supportive team of advisors at Key to the World Travel. We could not have made such a large donation without them!
