The perfect way to end your day after traveling around the World Showcase is by watching the new fireworks show at EPCOT. You may be wondering where the best spot to watch is. This is your complete EPCOT fireworks guide.
The Show
Currently, the show at EPCOT is called EPCOT Forever. It celebrates everything that the park has to offer, from the past and into the future. It all started with “one little spark” and with this show, you see it all come to life!
This is a limited-time show as a new nighttime spectacular is expected to debut later this year!
Where to Watch
There are so many wonderful locations to see the fireworks at EPCOT.
Entrance to the World Showcase
When you enter the World Showcase, you see two gift shops on either side – Disney Traders and Port of Entry. Look between them and you see a full view of the World Showcase. This is the most popular spot to watch the fireworks at EPCOT. Previously, it was the spot reserved for guests using a FastPass or attending a special event or dessert party. Currently, there is no reserved viewing offered with Disney Genie+. So, if this is your ideal spot, make sure you get there early!
United Kingdom
In the United Kingdom pavilion, there are a few spots along the water that offer a good view of the nighttime show. Try to avoid the trees, as this will certainly obstruct your view of the higher fireworks. You may need to walk further down toward the Canada pavilion. Sometimes, some of the space here is reserved for guests in wheelchairs or scooters, especially during busier times.
It is here, at the Rose & Crown, where you may purchase a dining package that includes a preferred viewing spot. The meal includes three courses and your choice of beverage. The package can be booked up to 60 days in advance and does require pre-payment.
Bridge to France
As you walk through the United Kingdom and past the back entrance of EPCOT, known as the International Gateway, there is a bridge that goes into the France Pavilion. Although this is not necessarily the best view of the show, it is a good option.
Japan
As you enter the Japan pavilion from Morocco, walk past the red structure in the water, known as a torii gate. Find a spot along the water and the railing for what is one of the best views of the show.
American Adventure
Find a spot along the water in the American Adventure pavilion, on either side of the American Gardens Theater. Please note, guests are not permitted to go into the theater area to watch the show. It will be roped off prior to the fireworks starting.
Italy
Although there are often private events taking place in this area, there are a few spots in the Italy Pavilion that offer a great view of the show. Be sure to find a spot along the water and make sure you have a clear view of the World Showcase because the show fills the whole World Showcase Lagoon!
Mexico
In Mexico, one of the best spots to watch the fireworks is at the waterside restaurants. If you are willing to get a late reservation, grab one at La Hacienda de San Angel. When you arrive, you can request a window seat and this offers an incredible view of the show. Keep in mind that this is not guaranteed but if you are able to get it, the view is perfect!
If you do not want to dine during the show, there are other spots in Mexico that offer a great view too. When you walk from the Mexico pavilion to the Norway pavilion, this area is largely unobstructed so the view is perfect for the show. Alternatively, get a spot near the boat dock. This spot is very popular though so arrive early if that’s your goal!
Outside of the Park
There are several spots outside of the park that offer a good view of the fireworks. For example, along Disney’s Boardwalk, it’s easy to find a spot and enjoy the show.
If you are staying at one of the EPCOT resorts, it’s possible that you could see the fireworks right from your balcony! This is also the case at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.
At Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, head up to Toledo for a great meal on the rooftop and a breathtaking view of the parks.
At Disney’s Riviera Resort, Topolino’s Terrace offers a signature dining experience with a view.
