Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderate resort found in the EPCOT area. It features bright colors and a tropical theme with convenient access to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

Resort Overview

This moderate resort offers a tropical theme and peaceful grounds. Take in your surroundings with palm trees and sandy beaches all around! The resort opened in 1988 and in 2018, it underwent a major refurbishment. This brought the addition of the Disney Skyliner, and the resort is the main hub for it. The resort is located close to Disney’s Riviera Resort and two theme parks – Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

  • Pool and Recreation: The main pool has a fun theme and two waterslides. There are also plenty of activities at this very large resort.

A Full Range of Accommodations

This resort is very large and offers a variety of room categories to choose from. The Preferred room category is located closest to the main pool, dining, and lobby. There are some rooms that accommodate up to 5 guests, including a child on the child-sized pull-down bed.

The resort used to offer Pirate-themed accommodations but recently, renovations started to replace these with an “Under the Sea” theme.

Sebastian’s Bistro

Head to this restaurant located along the Old Port Royale promenade for a meal served family-style. The dinner menu is filled with Latin and Caribbean flavors with items including Oven-Roasted Citrus Chicken, Slow-Cooked Mojo Pork, and more. Then save room for dessert to enjoy every bite of the popular Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding.

Centertown Market

With an indoor street market vibe, enjoy your meal at this quick-service restaurant. With classic breakfast options and Latin-inspired lunch and dinner menus, there is something for every palate to enjoy!

Centertown Market Grab & Go

This market features on-the-go snacks, a variety of bottled beverages, coffee, and bakery items. It’s a convenient spot to stop on your back to or from the parks.

Banana Cabana

Located near the main pool, grab a refreshing tropical drink at this walk-up bar. If you’re hungry, dine in and enjoy a quick and tasty bite including jerk chicken wings, loaded potato fries and more.

 

Pools, Grounds, & Recreation

Pools

The main pool at this resort, Fuentes del Morro Pool, is a zero-entry pool with a colonial Spanish fortress theme. There are two waterslides and a shipwreck play area for children. There is also a 12-person spa pool, which is the perfect place to relax with a refreshing drink!

There are also five leisure pools, one in each village. These pools offer a place to relax and lounge in the sun, with a calmer vibe.

Movies Under the Stars

After a day at the parks, enjoy complimentary movie screenings under the stars. These screenings are located at Caribbean Cay Island.

Fishing

Head out on a guided excursion to enjoy some catch-and-release fishing, leaving from Caribbean Cay Island.

Caribbean Beach Campfire Activities

When the sun goes down, head over for some family fun around the campfire, complete with marshmallows to roast over the fire.

Volleyball

This white-sand court is located at Martinique Village. Volleyballs can be checked out from the Siestas Cantina.

Jogging Trail

Enjoy a walk or run along the .6-mile path with views of Barefoot Bay.

Bike Rentals

Ride along the paths of the resort with bike rentals available for adults and children. These rentals are $20 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Helmets and child seats are complimentary with rentals. Please note, helmets are required by law for children under 16 years of age.

Playground

Plenty of fun awaits for little ones, including an interactive water play area.

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These buses run approximately every 20 minutes from the resort until an hour after park close.
  • Disney Springs and Water Parks: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney Springs and the water parks nearly every 20 minutes from the resort. Buses typically run for an hour after Disney Springs or the water park close.

Parking

All guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel enjoy complimentary parking for the length of their stay. Standard parking at the theme parks is also included as well.
