At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, there are a variety of room types with different views. While most guest rooms accommodate up to 4 adults, there are suites that sleep up to 8 adults.
All of the rooms at this resort have been refurbished and include either two queen beds or 1 king bed. There is flat-panel television, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a desk area. A coffeemaker and small refrigerator are also included, along with plenty of storage space.

Jiko – The Cooking Place
This signature dining experience offers a dinner menu that changes seasonally. Enjoy a blend of Mediterranean, Indian, and African flavors with Menu items such as steak, chicken, and seafood. There is also a children’s menu. Sip on South African wines as you watch the twin wood-burning ovens subtly change the light to mimic an African sunset. Then, observe the chefs preparing appetizers in the open show kitchen.
Boma – Flavors of Africa
This restaurant is meant to resemble an African marketplace. Head to the all-you-care-to-enjoy buffets at breakfast or dinner. Enjoy a variety of options and flavors from all over Africa, as well as American favorites.
Sanaa
Head over to Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village to enjoy East African cuisine with views of the Sunset Savanna.
The Mara
This quick-service location serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Snacks are also available. Once you choose your meal, have a seat and enjoy it under banyan trees.
Sanaa Lounge
This lounge is located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. Inspired by the spice markets of Africa, sit back in this inviting lounge to taste African wines and appetizers as you watch animals roam the savanna.
Victoria Falls Lounge
Enjoy the fire pit and beverages from South Africa as you overlook the Boma Restaurant.
Maji Pool Bar
Located at the pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, this poolside bar is the perfect spot to grab a bite and a beverage. Enjoy cocktails, wine, and beer as you sit poolside. Sandwiches, salads, and snacks are also available.
Uzima Springs Pool Bar
Located at the main pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, relax with cocktails, sangria, or other beverage under the thatched hut.
Pools, Grounds, & Recreation
The Uzima Springs Pool is an 11,000-square-foot pool area facing the Uzima Savanna. The 234,980-gallon pool has a zero-depth entry point and a 67-foot-long waterslide.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, the Samawati Springs Pool is another water retreat and the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy some water fun! It offers zero-entry access and a 128-foot-long waterslide. In addition, the Uwanja Camp is a popular water playground for kids of all ages.
Pumbaa’s Fun & Games Arcade
Enjoy video games, pinball, air hockey, and more at this arcade located near the Mara Cafe. The arcade is open daily. Purchase your game card using cash or credit card and then refill it as you please to use at any of the other Walt Disney World Resort arcades.
Movies Under the Stars
After a day at the parks, enjoy complimentary movie screenings under the stars. These screenings are located near the Lost City of Cibola pool. Check with the front desk for a schedule.
Hakuna Matata Playground
This playground is overlooking the flamingo area and savanna. It’s the perfect spot for kids to enjoy no worries!
Jambo House Campfire Activities
Head over to the campfire for some family fun, complete with marshmallows for roasting and family-friendly fun.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Transportation
Guests can get around Walt Disney World Resort with ease using several convenient, complimentary transportation options. There are options to get from one park to the others as well as from the resort to each park.

- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These buses run approximately every 20 minutes from the resort until an hour after the park closes.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These buses run approximately every 20 minutes from the resort until an hour after the park closes.
- Disney Springs and Water Parks: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney Springs and the water parks nearly every 20 minutes from the resort. Buses typically run for an hour after Disney Springs or the water park close.
Parking
*Guests who drive either their own vehicle or a rental car to Walt Disney World should know that a standard overnight self-parking fee of $25 per night will be applied to the guest hotel folio upon check-out. Valet parking is available for $33 per night. Complimentary standard self-parking is available while you enjoy select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at this resort.
