Does anything taste better than free? Walt Disney World Resort has announced a new way for guests to Stay, Play, and Dine in the magic this summer. Starting June 25 guests staying on-site at select Disney resort hotels will receive a special Disney World Summer Dining Gift Card good to use toward food and drink at select, participating dining locations on a 5 night/4 day stay. Read on for all the details!
Who is eligible to receive the dining gift cards?
Guests staying a minimum of 4 nights/4 days at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels between June 25 and September 14 2023 are eligible for this giveaway. Some resorts are excluded from this offer-more on that later!
How much is the Walt Disney World Summer Dining Gift Card worth?
Value of the Summer Dining Cards depends on your arrival date, the category of your hotel, and length of stay.
- For guests arriving 7/1-7/10 and 8/1-9/14: $50 per night at Value Resorts | $100 per night at Moderate Resorts and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Campground | $150 per night at Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts
- For guests arriving 6/25-6/30 and 7/11-7/31: $35 per night at Value Resorts | $75 per night at Moderate Resorts and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Campground | $125 per night at Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa resorts
This offer requires a minimum stay of 4 nights/4 days theme park tickets. It does apply to longer reservations as well. There’s no maximum value to the gift card, so stay as long as you like! Gift cards are offered per reservation, not per person. The dining credit is shared between everyone in your room.
How does the Walt Disney World Summer Dining Card work?

The Summer Dining Cards will be digital, not physical gift cards. After checking in at your hotel, guests will receive an email with their digital gift card account information. The barcode can be scanned from the email or a screenshot to pay. To make using the card even easier, the card can be added to Apple Wallet or Google wallet on your phone. Guests can also enter their card number into their Disney World app to making paying for mobile dining orders a breeze!

The Walt Disney World Summer Dining Card is a great offer that allows guests the flexibility to drink and dine around Disney World without worrying about dining plan credit inclusions and restaurant categories. However, it’s important to remember that there are certain resort exclusions for this deal. Some dining locations aren’t participating, and won’t be eligible to pay with your card.
