Each year in early November, the Magic Kingdom is transformed, seemingly overnight, from Halloween to Christmas-themed decor! It’s a magical transformation and the other theme parks follow shortly after! By the end of November, there is no doubt that the holiday season has arrived throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! At the resort hotels, there are beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and some resorts, like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, have gingerbread houses or similar elaborate displays!

This holiday season, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to the Magic Kingdom. The first party is on November 9, 2023, and this event runs through December 22, 2023, on select nights. Enjoy special character meet and greets, the beloved Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, your favorite attractions, and more!
This year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is also a new event called Disney Jollywood Nights. This event starts on November 11, 2023, and runs through December 20, 2023, on select nights. This brand-new nighttime event features your favorite attractions and characters, exclusive shows, and themed entertainment There is an all-new stage show and the return of the beloved show – the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime spectacular.
2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

The beloved EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays starts on November 24 and runs through December 30, 2023. This festival gives guests the opportunity to celebrate the holidays around the world. Stroll around the World Showcase and make sure you enjoy a variety of Holiday Kitchens with tastes from all over the world. Stop in each country pavilion and truly explore. New Experiences & Attractions

This fall and winter, there are exciting new experiences and attractions coming to the Walt Disney World Resort!
It was recently announced that Journey of Water, inspired by Moana, is opening this fall. This attraction will open in World Nature and will bring water to life! This self-guided outdoor trail encourages guests to play with water and explore. You can choose to get wet or stay on the dry path! In addition, Moana will be meeting with guests near the entrance!
In addition, a new fireworks show is coming to EPCOT on December 5, 2023! The new show entitled “Luminous The Symphony of US” will include fireworks, fountains, music, and more.
Don’t forget the other new additions to the theme parks recently! Guests can now find Mirabel from Encanto at the Magic Kingdom. Plus, TRON Lightcycle/Run is the hottest new thrilling attraction at the park! Don’t miss your opportunity to experience it using the virtual queue or by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane!
